Industrial Valve Replacement Services in London

Leading Industrial Valve Replacement Services in London

Our professional team attended the store at Oxford Street, London, to complete essential industrial isolation and valve replacement works. The project involved freezing and isolating three AHU’s, LTHW and CHW flow and return systems, as well as with new butterfly valves and connections.

We worked out of normal operating hours to avoid interfering with store operations.  Firstly, we began by carrying out liquid nitrogen pipe freezes to form an ice plug on three sets of LTHW and CHW flow and return pipework. This method allowed us to isolate the systems without draining or interrupting the wider store building services.

Our Pipe Freezing Specialists in London used proven techniques to maintain precise control and system integrity throughout the operation.

Once isolation was confirmed, our engineers manufactured 12 new stool pieces, converting from Table E to PN16 flanges. This step ensured compatibility with the new fully lugged butterfly valves, which would soon replace the outdated equipment.

Valve Fitting and Installation

After achieving complete isolation, our team removed the old pipework and valves with assistance from Erith Asbestos, who handled gasket removal safely. We then supplied and installed PN16 fully lugged butterfly valves on all LTHW and CHW flow and return lines, feeding the new Air Handling Units (AHUs).

Each valve was tested under working conditions once the freezes were released, ensuring there were no leaks or operational issues.

Site Completion and Environmental Responsibility

Following final inspections, we cleared all redundant materials and disposed of them responsibly at a Licensed recycling facility. Our commitment to sustainability aligns with our company values and industry best practice.

By working outside of standard hours, our team avoided disruption to both retail operations and the public, completing the project efficiently and safely.

This high-quality industrial valve fitting provided the system with improved control, safety, and long-term reliability. By using pipe freezing and precision valve fitting, we achieved a seamless installation at one of London’s busiest retail locations.

Results and Benefits

The project was delivered on time, within budget, and with zero disruption to store operations. The client benefited from:

  • No system drainage or water loss
  • Controlled isolation using nitrogen freezing
  • Upgraded valve fittings for improved efficiency

Our industrial valve replacement services in Oxford Street once again demonstrated why major contractors trust our team with complex building services projects.
