Senseco Sprinkler Systems Ltd needed our Liquid Nitrogen Pipe Freezing Services at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London.
Brief
IDWe Ltd were asked to freeze a 100mm sprinkler main at a high level, because of the size of the water pipework system at the Excel Exhibition Centre.
Attend the site during normal working hours to carry out our services.
Pipe Freezing Solution
- Firstly, our engineers supplied and erected a scaffold tower to gain access to the high level pipework.
- After that we attached pipe freeze jackets to the 100m sprinkler main pipe and poured in liquid nitrogen.
- Senseco Sprinkler Systems Ltd installed the new section of pipework once the pipe freeze had taken hold.
- On completion of works, our engineers released the pipework freeze and checked for leaks.
- Finally, we cleaned up the area and disposed of all unnecessary items at a nearby waste/recycling centre.
Result
