15 Valve Replacements at Westfield, W12

 

Client – Westfield Shopping Centre

Site Location – Shepherds Bush, London W12

Contract Duration – One evening with 6 engineers

Project Appointed –

Replacement of 10 butterfly valves and 5 non-return valves in the roof plant room.

 

Valve fitting key highlights:

Six of our highly skilled engineers went to Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush out of hours, for one evening.

The team isolated the existing header pipework, then drained down the system.

Once the pipework had been confirmed it was fully empty, we disconnected all the existing 200mm isolation valves and all the 200mm existing non-return valves from the pipework.

Next, we supplied and installed ten new 200mm butterfly valves and five new 200mm non-return valves, complete with new gaskets.

Lastly, we released the water isolation valve to fill the header pipework with water to check for any possible leaks.

When everything was complete, we ensured the site was left clean & tidy and disposed of all redundant items at a licensed refuse/recycling facility.

 

Result:

The customer was happy as the work had taken place out of hours, with minimum disruption to their services.
