To supply and fit two 100mm gate valves with our pipe freezing services
Valve fitting key highlights included:
IDWe Ltd attended the site in New Malden and applied pipework freezes to the existing 100mm cold water pipework within the trench.
After that, we supplied a sump pump to remove the water from within the trench once the redundant looped pipework had been disconnected.
Once the pipework was frozen, our team then disconnected and removed the existing redundant looped pipework and non-return valves with no disruption to services.
Our team then fitted the two new 100mm gate valves complete with blank plates.
The pipework freezes were allowed to thaw and then checked for any leaks.
Result:
Lima’s valves were replaced successfully and left in good working order and the site was left clean & tidy.
All redundant items were disposed of at a licensed refuse/recycling facility.
