Pipe Freezing – how we helped a pipe redirection

Location – Central London
Task Appointed – The team were pleased to have been contracted by CBRE to carry out pipe freezing works on another prestigious, classic London building – Tower 42, formerly known as Natwest Tower.
Services Supplied – The team were contracted to carry out pipe freezing works on 2 of the existing 5 sprinkler pipes in order to install redirection pipework, allowing for easy access to the building’s chiller for future servicing and maintenance purposes.
The assignment involved the use of liquid nitrogen to freeze the contents of x2 4-inch pipes allowing for the redirection to be installed and achieved in an efficient manner.
Result – Works were completed on time and the redirection of pipes was successful.
